The managing partner at KASSEM & ASSOCIATES, P.C., a New York and New Jersey based law firm with its main office in Clifton, New Jersey, Nabil Kassem handles all aspects of civil and criminal litigation for the firm. Dedicated to supporting advancements within the legal field, Nabil Kassem belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice (AAJ), The Robert Clifford American Inn of Court and others.
One of the reasons that Nabil Kassem is a member of the AAJ, is that it boasts being the largest trial bar in the world. In fact, the AAJ recently held its first annual National Day of Service project in partnership with the Trial Lawyers Care initiative. The project began on May 1, 2015 in honor of Law Day, which celebrates the more than 200 years that America’s court system has been helping citizens seek and obtain justice. In recognition of this day, trial attorneys across the country, such as Mr. Kassem, were encouraged by the AAJ to support their communities through volunteer activities and provide information about the country’s legal system to the public.
Some of the projects that attorneys donated their time to this year included serving food at homeless shelters, providing free legal advice, and helping improve child literacy. Although the National Day of Service is only a day-long event, the AAJ’s Trial Lawyers Care Initiative recognized attorneys who support their communities year round by highlighting their time spent giving back to others.
